Institutions holding the HR Excellence logo are systematically assessed in terms of maintaining the standards adopted by the European Commission

European Charter for Researchers

IBBE PAS has decided to implement the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers and thus participate in the European initiative aiming at making research an attractive career.

Implementation process timeline:

  • 03/2016 – prof. Adam Liebert, Dyrektor IBIB PAN, powołał Grupę Roboczą ds. HR w składzie: prof. D. Pijanowska, prof. A. Chwojnowski, mgr E. Zachara, dr M. Antosiak-Iwańska.
  • 04/2016 – HR Working Group carried out a survey
  • 05/2016 - HR Working Group performed an internal gap analysis (template for internal gap analysis and staff survey).
  • 08/2016 - Director of the IBIB PAN signed the Declaration of Commitment „Carte & Code”.
  • 09/2016 - The Action Plan was approved and send to European Commission
  • 09/2017 - Revision the strategy and Gap Analysis Plan
  • 01/2018 - Correction the Action Plan and Anex HR4R and Appendix was sent to European Commission
  • 07/2018 - IBBE PAS awarded HR Excellence in Research

Plan Równości Płci

The Gender Equality Plan defines a set of actions aimed at promoting gender equality through institutional and cultural change in organisations, research and innovation. In the nomenclature adopted by the European Union, the acronym GEP (Gender Equality Plan) is used to describe such plans.
The Gender Equality Plan of the M. Nałęcz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences contains a diagnosis of the current state and planned actions to promote gender equality.
Plan Równości Płci IBIB PAN został zaktualizowany na lata 2026-2027. Dokument został opracowany przez zespół pracowników IBIB PAN  oraz zaakceptowany przez Dyrekcję Instytutu. Postęp w realizacji celów będzie monitorowany przez wyznaczone do tego jednostki.
