Career Development
The Institute supports the career development of researchers at all stages (R1–R4), in line with the principles of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R). We provide an environment conducive to scientific development by offering access to research funding, international mobility, scientific collaboration, and skills development opportunities.

Career paths
Career development at the Institute follows the European framework for research careers:
R1 – First Stage Researchers (doctoral candidates)
Researchers at the beginning of their careers, developing research skills under the supervision of a mentor or supervisor.
R2 – Recognised Researchers (postdoctoral level)
Researchers who are building scientific independence, conducting research projects, and developing their publication record.
R3 – Established Researchers
Independent researchers leading projects or research teams and developing national and international collaborations.
R4 – Leading Researchers
Researchers with a strong scientific reputation who lead research teams and define research directions.
Career advancement is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and internal policies of the Institute.
