Projekt SONATA Bis – „Badania nad nowymi czułymi warstwami do oznaczania cząsteczek sygnałowych quorum sensing”.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a common bacterium responsible for chronic hospital infections, often facilitated by Quorum Sensing (QS)—a communication system that bacteria use to coordinate infection through small signaling molecules called autoinducers. This project aims to develop tools for the rapid detection of autoinducers secreted by P. aeruginosa at the earliest stages of colonization. Early detection will enable swift intervention to disrupt the QS system, effectively preventing infection progression.
