Mazovia NAWA-EURAXESS Network

We are delighted to announce that we are co-implementing a project entitled "Establishment of the NAWA-EURAXESS regional network in the Mazovia Province”

The project leader is National Centre for Nuclear Research, which is responsible for the overall coordination of activities and implementation of project tasks such as: creating a website for the Mazovian EURAXESS network and organising integration and promotional events.

The consortium comprises the following partner institutions:

  • International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw (MIBMiK)
  • Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW)
  • Nalecz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering
  • International Institute of Molecular Mechanisms and Machines, Polish Academy of Sciences (IMol)
  • University of Warsaw

The aim of the project is to build a strong regional support network for foreign researchers and scientific institutions in the Mazovia Province. The project includes, among other things, developing cooperation with all scientific institutions. In addition, we want to develop cooperation with state administration and local government units. We will achieve our goals by organising integration and sporting events, training courses on legalisation of stay and intercultural communication, and study visits.

The project is financed by the European Union under the European Social Development Funds 2021-2027. It has received full funding in the amount of PLN 1,115,472.00, and its implementation is planned for the years 2025-2028.

Our efforts will result in an increase in the number of foreign researchers and students, an improvement in the international standing of Mazovian research institutions, and a lasting increase in the competence of staff in handling international mobility.
