The first day of the combined 20th Nordic-Baltic Conference on Biomedical Engineering (NBC 2025) and the 24th Polish Conference on Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering (PCBBE 2025) is behind us. The opening ceremony also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The conference participants were welcomed by the Director of the IBIB PAN, Prof. Piotr Ładyżyński, PhD. The Director recalled the idea and the genesis of the Institute's founding, as well as the evolution it has undergone through[ ... ].

On 19-20 March, the IBIB PAN participated in the LABS EXPO trade fair in Poznań. At the stand of the Polish Academy of Sciences we presented our achievements and our offer for business customers. The fair also included many conferences, seminars and lectures. For us, this was an ideal opportunity to meet the medical and laboratory industry, where we, as participants, could establish cooperation with industry.
