The Institute at the LABS EXPO in Poznań

A new edition of the LABS EXPO - one of the most important events for the laboratory industry in Poland—was held in Poznań. The program included presentations of modern equipment and technologies, expert conferences, workshops, and meetings with representatives of the scientific and business communities.

The Institute was represented by members of two units: the Laboratory of Cardiopulmonary Diagnostics and Therapy Support (Dr. Zieliński) and the Laboratory of Biosensors and Analytical Microsystems (Dr. Urbanowicz and his team).

During the event, the results of a project carried out at the Laboratory of Biosensors and Analytical Microsystems were presented. The project focuses on developing a solution for clinical monitoring of pH in drainage fluids. Participation in the fair provided an opportunity to promote the project and exchange experience with representatives of the scientific community and the commercial sector.

The event was held under the patronage of the Polish Academy of Sciences and included a competition for the GRAND PRIX of the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, recognizing the most innovative solutions presented at the Expo.
