Laboratory of Biosensors and Analytical Microsystems is looking for an ambitious and talented R2 researcher on Post Doctoral positions in the NCN project SONATA BIS 2023/50/E/ST5/00347 entilteled: Study on novel sensing layers for determination of quorum sensing signal molecules.

 

Description of research conducted in the Project

The aim of the project is to investigate the properties of MIPs designed for determination of selected autoinducers (AIs) secreted by Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Post-doc will be responsible for:
- Optimization of preparation method of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs);
- physico-chemical characterization of MIPs, study and analysis of results;
- evaluation of metrological parameter of MIP sensors in laboratory and biological samples;
- statistical analysis of obtained results.

Expectations:

1. PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science or similar awarded within 7 years before 1 January of the year of employment in the project (for women 18 months is added for each child).
2. Experience in MIPs preparation OR/AND
3. Experience in methods of surface characterization (e.g. FTIR, impedance spectroscopy) OR/AND
4. Experience in electrochemical methods.
5. Good English skills.
6. Ability to write scientific projects.
