Patience and enthusiasm in learning new skills and acquiring of new knowledge as researchers manoeuvre on uncharted territories. However, a good theoretical, programming and engineering background is essential to make first steps. This includes: good understanding of physics; good programming skills; MATLAB knowledge essential for rapid prototyping and algorithms development; basics in electronics; knowledge on reading schematics and datasheets (helpful in learning and development processes). |

Successful research career follows enthusiasm in facing problems he/she does not understand and knows the satisfaction feeling after solving a challenging problem.
