The Scientific Council of the ICB is appointed by the Parties. The members of the Scientific Council are distinguished specialists in the field of biocybernetics or biomedical engineering delegated by the Parties. Other persons up to a maximum of 50% of those directly appointed may be invited \"ad personam\" to become members on the proposal of the Scientific Council. Members would serve for a period of three years, unless specifically reappointed or reinvited for another term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
