{"id":2948,"date":"2026-03-13T14:35:54","date_gmt":"2026-03-13T13:35:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test.ibib.waw.pl\/?page_id=2948"},"modified":"2026-04-02T09:06:52","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T07:06:52","slug":"welcome-to-poland","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ibib.waw.pl\/en\/nauka\/projekty\/projekty-realizowane-w-ibib-pan-archiwum\/welcome-to-poland\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to Poland"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"109\" src=\"https:\/\/ibib.waw.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-18-1024x109.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2950\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nalecz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of Polish Academy of Sciences (IBBE PAS) has received funding from the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the \u201eWelcome to Poland\u201d programme (call 2024) for a project entitled. \u201eStrengthening the international potential of the Nalecz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering PAN\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find detailed information about the funds received&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ibib.waw.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/info_na_stronie_nawa_welcome.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scope of project activities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The following tasks will be carried out as part of the project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>staff development courses, including language courses,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthening the activities of the External Research Projects Unit in terms of serving people from abroad,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>international study trips and participation in key scientific events,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a series of one-day workshops with leading experts,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the organisation of an international conference entitled. \u201eEuropean Forum: Biomedical Engineering from Research to Commercialisation\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Implementation schedule:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>&nbsp;2025<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Commencement of Task 2 activities: strengthening the activities of the External Research Projects Unit to cater for people from abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>February<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open enrolment of participants for specialised training and external courses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opening of the call for participants for study visits to foreign partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opening of the call for participants to attend international conferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>March<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open enrolment for English language courses organised by the Institute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>May<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0Opening of the call for project management forges organised by the Institute<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>June<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First in a series of workshops with international experts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>September<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>International conference \u201eEuropean Forum: Biomedical engineering - from research to commercialisation\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>November<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Second in a series of workshops with international experts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2027<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>February<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open enrolment for the Institute's international communication courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>March<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Third in a series of workshops with international experts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>May<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fourth in a series of workshops with international experts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Invitation to participate<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;We invite all IBIB PAN employees -
